A scathing critique of corruption, abuse of power, and a tyrant’s weaponization of the law against his enemies in imperial Rome. See the rise and fall of an emperor’s ambitious right-hand man, in the play that led author Ben Jonson to face allegations of treason.

The play, originally titled Sejanus His Fall, first performed in London in 1603. Ben Jonson is widely considered one of the greatest playwrights of renaissance England.

You can audition on your choice of July 28 & 29, with possible callbacks on August 1 (audition dates subject to change). Rehearsals at The Well are set to begin August 10, three evenings per week between Monday–Thursday, based on cast availability.
