The Spanish Tragedy
by Thomas Kyd
November 7–16, 2025
The Well Coffee House
2410 E Mishawaka Ave, South Bend
Don Andrea will see his revenge — from beyond the grave. Following his dishonorable demise in battle at the hands of Portugal’s Prince Balthazar, the ghost of the Spanish don and the spirit of Revenge witness the fallout of his death.
Take a seat beside them. Behold the murderous schemes in the corrupt court of an incompetent king, and the vengeance visited upon those who abuse their power.
The Spanish Tragedy, one of the first blockbusters of the English renaissance stage, defined the modern revenge tale. Now it’s coming right here to South Bend, Indiana. Join us this November at The Well Coffee House for the play that started it all, presented by AMP Theatre Company.
Performances are at 7:30pm on Fridays and Saturdays, and at 3:00pm on Sundays, November 7–16. See our Event FAQ for details.
